"If you love what you do, you never have to work another day in your life!"
"I couldn't ask for a better career. To know that I've played a small part, directly or indirectly, in helping someone become more healthy and fit and ultimately changing their entire life is about as rewarding as it gets. My goal is to educate as many people as I can about how adopting a more healthy and fit lifestyle empowers the rest of their lives. I am completely passionate about the benefits of regular exercise and believe a consistent regime will positively impact anybody's life. My vision is to assist as many clients as possible adhere to an exercise program and a clean eating lifestyle so that I help create a society that is happy, healthy and fit - mentally, physically and spiritually."

Matt Linsdell

After high school I got hooked on Cycling, on and off road. Anything with pedals. Long distances. The longer the better. Running followed and then logically swimming and weight lifting. I realized that Triathlons might be fun thing to try. And so began a mild obsession with racing and endurance sports. But as my obsession grew I needed to know more about the fundamentals of physical activity and its effects on the body. Why and how do we get stronger? I wanted to learn my information from physiologist and chemistry professors and not flashy books written by semi-celebrities. When I turned 20 I was accepted in to an obscure and intense science program in Montreal. I studied animal anatomy, organic and solution chemistry, zoology and taxonomy among other things. Science was a way to understand the world outside and ultimately make sense of the complexity which is the human organism. Some might see this as a sole-less way to view mankind. But I think it is beautiful. For a time I worked in the science field and traveled. But when I found myself living in Vancouver with no real career I thought I would try to put my knowledge to use and apply it to what had been my obsession for so long. I quickly became an ACE certified trainer and I've enjoyed virtually every minute of it.
I approach training from the most logical of view points. The last 100 years of anatomy and physiology have provided mankind with a fantastic amount of information regarding human health and how to maximize its potential. Not just for sports, but also for general health and vitality. Applying this information to my training is central. Clients can expect several things from me; To train hard and to be efficient. I will not waste time making someone sweaty if it doesn't lead to a stronger person. Exercise is not about burning calories. It is about apply increasingly stressful stimuli to an individual and watching them get stronger and healthier. So everyday they can be a little stronger than the day before.
